Clemson’s 2023 D-line class continues to strengthen.
Four-star Rome, Georgia’s defensive lineman Stefano Verde announced an engagement with Clemson on Wednesday.
Green is rated as the No. 9 in the nation and player no. 190 in absolute (Rivals).
He made a stop on campus for Clemson’s big official visiting weekend in early June and this month is now a commitment to the 11th Tigers.
Green is the 14th engagement in the Clemson 2023 class ever which was ranked n. 3 in the 247Sports Team Composite standings, behind only Notre Dame (15 commits) and Ohio State (12).
It’s the second engagement in the 4-star D line this week, joining AJ Hoffler, and a quarter of the class alongside David Ojiegbe and Vic Burley.
Green chose Clemson from the bottom six which also included Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Ohio State. His other offerings included Auburn, Notre Dame, and Oklahoma among others.
